ERIKS Digital is looking for an experienced (senior) Front-end engineer for our Smart Asset Management team


The Smart Asset Management team focuses on Industrial Internet of Things and Smart Asset

Management solutions to help our customers improve their plant and maintenance process performance. Let

Tesla focus on the cars, we will make sure the factory is running smoothly.


We are looking for a senior react developer, who will work on the front end of a platform that generates

maintenance advice automatically and brings this data to our customers, improving the way they run their factory.

Your key responsibility is to maintain and develop the customer facing part of our application landscape. This will

involve making architectural choices and design decisions together with the back-end architect. In this role you

are responsible for all front end development on our product. Interest or knowledge of IoT, asset management

and data visualization is preferred. You will work closely together in a scrum team with the Product Owner, back-

end developers, QA engineer, and DevOps.


Furthermore, you will be working with the other front-end colleagues of ERIKS digital. The front-end discipline

collaborates to contribute to a seamless customer journey cross product, tackle architectural challenges, and

share knowledge and important learnings between the different product teams.



Job duties and responsibilities

  • Translate user stories into production grade React application
  • Define and make architectural choices that will lead to a smart and agile product
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Overcome technical challenges within the front-end architecture and align on the integrations with our back-end
  • architect
  • Work with the UX team to incorporate customer feedback and create an easy to use and love-able product
  • Work on bugs and customer feedback in a way that makes our customers happy

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • >3 years of experience in working with React, React Native and related technologies
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Demonstrable ability to make no-nonsense architectures and software and work on integrations with Azure (IoT)

  • Affinity with Internet of Things, Asset management and maintenance management or data analysis and visualization

is a plus.
