ERIKS Digital is looking for an experienced Java back-end engineer.
ERIKS Digital is the Amsterdam based digital hub of ERIKS, a specialized industrial service provider that offers a wide range of technical products in 17 countries. We are working on five different propositions, building new digital solutions for our external customers and internal use. Most of the projects we build from scratch by exploring innovative technologies. As our back-end engineer you will join the Wiki team. Wiki is an innovative portal on a product knowledge base that uses a graph database and an ElasticSearch engine. It is a fast paced, user driven, highly valued tool used by everyone in the company that wants to lookup, know, sell or show product information.
Your main focus will be: Internationalization, building user-driven features and embedding more data sources. The front end platform is currently built in ReactJS with typescript and has GRANDstack as a framework. The back end uses a GraphQL data platform on top of Neo4J and ElasticSearch. You will work closely together in an agile team (Kanban) with the Product Owner, software developers, data architects, designers, QA engineer, and DevOps. We would like you to take ownership by collaborating with users and stakeholders where required and come up with the best solution. This team searches for an independent but collaborative colleague, who does not shy away from pro-activity to help other team members.
For 2021 this team has promising plans and therefore we are growing. We have three vacancies supporting this growth: front-end, back-end and database oriented. Curious about the other two vacancies? Check our career page or ask our recruiter.
