ERIKS Digital is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer Integrations

As Lead Platform Engineer Integrations, you will work closely with our Platform Engineering Manager to drive and develop a scalable and performant API platform to support the integration between ERIKS applications and our customers and suppliers. To realize this, you will be collaborating intensively, and hands on, with our Digital Integrations Platform team and Global Enterprise Architecture.


Most of the integrations we build from scratch by exploring innovative technologies. This will involve making infrastructure, architectural and design decisions together with leads of various platform teams and disciplines. You will plan, design, implement and maintain, amongst others, API integrations, provide methodologies, processes, and governance for our API platform.

All our development is in focus of realizing the product roadmaps for our main product domains being, Customer Interactions & Sales, Suppliers & CoE, and Supply Chain & Finance. Therefore, a good understanding and capability of translating business recruitments in technical solutions is a must have.


In the lead position you will take on a leading and mentoring role, overseeing, and aligning to support and participate in the work of the Digital Integrations team and drive collaboration from an integration perspective with all our product propositions (Ecommerce, Country websites, Guided Buying, Wiki, and Smart Asset Management), our customers, suppliers, and our enterprise applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the API and integrations capabilities for ERIKS with the Platform team Digital Integrations
  • Define and convert the API strategy within ERIKS to a user-friendly product towards internal and external customers. 
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Platform team Digital Integrations to develop best practices and methodologies, processes and a governance framework on API management, enterprise integration and micro-services. Incl. enhancing the current CI/CD processes to support new and existing development
  • Develop integration solutions, including REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Event Driven/Queue based integrations and service orchestrations and manage the entire life cycle
  • Design, plan and implement migrations from EDI connections to API
  • Assist with integration solutions planning, liaise with relevant application and product experts and contribute to solution design.

  • Liaise with solution architects, business analysts and other developers to ensure all deliveries are supported by the correct architectural implementation.
  • Supporting the Global Enterprise Architecture; ensure that all solutions and changes are in line with the enterprise architecture. 

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant development and integration experience
  • Awareness of critical concepts in Development, Architecture and Agile principles
  • Cloud & Hosting Services: Knowledge of SOA, API Architectures and Cloud solutions (predominantly Azure)
  • You have a good understanding of emerging trends and innovative integration technologies.
  • Proven experience with;
    • Microsoft Azure Integration Services
    • ETL/ELT (Azure Data Factory)
    • Enterprise API Management (Open API, Azure API management, Apigee API Management, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, other)
    • Microservices Architecture
    • REST API’s and you are familiar with .NET framework, C#, API and Service development
  • Open API, json, Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps have no secrets for you.
  • Experience in Web service/API development
  • Knowledge in SOAP protocol and REST principles
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI, other)

Personal competence:

  • Good communication skills connecting with internal and external customers is a must.
  • You’re fluent in English. Any other language is an asset.
