ERIKS Digital is looking for a Head of Digital Platform Domain Customers
The Head of Digital Platform Customers works together with the Head of Digital Product Customers in driving digitization as a portfolio of projects that need to be completed over the next three years to realize the strategy.
On top of the platform, products such as the ERIKS.COM, Wiki, advanced CRM solutions on top of SAP, tools are developed. The Head of Digital Platform Customers is responsible for the platforms supporting the products in the product domain and has 3 Platform Engineering Managers (that will manage up to 30 Platform Engineers) as direct reports, while the Digital Product Customers is focused on product management and has a team of product managers.
Together, they will drive the ERIKS digital transformation and translate the vision into clear deliverables. The vision is simple, yet ambitious: to create the world most digitally advanced specialized industrial service provider. This process and the transformation roadmap are yet to be created from scratch. There will be four focus products, ERIKS.COM, Guided Buying, Pre-Sales & Sales execution, Customer Support, Sales Planning and Wiki, that are driven by the Digital Strategy for the Customer Interactions and Pre-sales & Sales product domain. Each product area has sub-streams that require specific product roadmaps. Here, platform management will entail the design, development and delivery of the product roadmaps, working with the product teams and business owners to assure the right timelines, and measuring the product success.
The role requires a driven and cooperative approach. When working with the countries, this means empowering the teams to develop their own visions and supporting them in delivering the roadmap. This goes beyond an advisory approach and truly means showing them how it’s done, articulating their goals and quantifying their deliverables.
The role also requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to push through. In addition, being able to challenge leadership on new ideas is highly appreciated. Apart from the Head of Digital Product Customers and the team of platform engineers, the
Head of Digital Platform Customers also works closely with the Director of Digital Platforms.
