ERIKS Digital is looking for a Data Product Manager!

We are looking for a colleague to join our global Data Product team as a Data Product Manager, focused on the development of Data Products in ERIKS’ Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and ‘Centers of Expertise’ domains.

In ERIKS Digital, it is our mission to maximize the power of digital technology and data for every ERIKS colleague and customer. The Data Office, which comprises of the Data Product Team and the Data Platform team, delivers on this mission by developing the required data infrastructure and platforms to make data available across the organization and by developing data products that provide actionable insights for better decision making to help ERIKS to meet its strategic goals. As a data product manager, you will cooperate closely with global business stakeholders to make sure that the products you develop with your team create value and help to deliver on ERIKS’ strategy. To support our success, we have the right mandate in the company, a modern Azure based data platform and a global audience.

The Data Office is an international team that consists of 11 colleagues with 6 nationalities and for which we are currently fulfilling 4 positions. What you will do:

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams on value cases, including Business stakeholders and domain specialists, peer Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts. There you will -

  • Effectively engage, challenge and collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Engineering teams to facilitate definition and regular reviews of Data Products Vision, Strategy, Roadmap, Backlog definition and prioritization.
  • Analyze and translate business use cases into clear and feasible Products, Features and Stories with measurable value and contribution to our strategic goals. The use cases can initiate from business stakeholders, your team members (engineers and analysts) or your own expertise.
  • Work with the Data and Analytics Engineering members to ensure Products, Features, Stories are well understood, required work is refined, estimated and planned in respective sprints using Agile Scrum
  • Based on the defined Backlogs and Sprints planning you’ll set expectations with stakeholders about Products and Features delivery.
  • Demo completed software Features to stakeholder community.
  • Monitor and evangelize Products and Features adoption and value.
  • Seek to inspire and encourage innovation.
  • Coach junior team members and help them grow. Actively develop your own skills and competencies.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, tools and advancements in the area of Data & Analytics.

Help develop the Data team at ERIKS Digital and the Analytics community at ERIKS. Make Data & Analytics operational for ERIKS while guiding the company towards more advanced analytics.

  • You have 3+ years professional experience as a Data Product Manager/Owner
  • You have 1+ years of experience with Agile Scrum
  • You are hands on and have strong organizational and communication skills
  • You have effective planning, execution, presentation skills
  • You are entrepreneurial, pioneering and creative
  • You have a positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • You have made many mistakes and you are not afraid of making more
  • Good understanding of Azure cloud data architectures, data, relational databases, SQL, Python or R, data visualization
  • You are pragmatic, analytical, results focused
  • You have the ability to make complex matters simple
  • You do not just have the ability, but the preference to work in a fast paced and Agile environment
